Best Seattle Bands Playing SEA tonight: The Cave Singers, Elba + Whalebones

Tonight’s one of those nights when you could throw a dart at a list of venues and end up hearing some of the best bands you’ve heard in a while. While we wrote about Portland’s Blind Pilot earlier today, we decided to do a follow-up post to highlight three of our favorite Seattle bands playing in town tonight. Do yourself a favor and kick off your weekend with one of these great shows.

The Cave Singers (Headlining Neumos. The bill also includes PDX’s The Builders and The Butchers :: Doors at 8pm :: $18)

Elba (Opening for The Sea & Cake at The Croc. The bill also includes Lia Ices :: Doors at 8pm :: $13)

Whalebones (Headlining Chop Suey. The bill also includes Charles Leo Gebhardt IV and The First Times. Doors at 9pm :: $8)

High Tide with Blind Pilot Tonight at Neptune Theatre

We all need a good dose of orchestral folk-pop now and then, complete with a harmonium and cello.

Tonight’s remedy is Blind Pilot’s headlining show tonight at Neptune Theatre. Originally a pair of musicians, Blind Pilot has expanded their sound, along with their membership, with the release of We Are The Tide in September.

Don’t miss them with another SLM favorite, Point Juncture, WA, tonight at Neptune Theatre.

12/2 Blind Pilot / Point Juncture, WA @ Neptune Theatre :: Doors at 8:00 PM :: Tickets are $14 :: All Ages
