This week showcases some of the finest Seattle-based acts playing around the city. In fact, we’re only recommending one non-Seattle act this week, meaning there’s a lot of local music love to be had!

6/25 (Tuesday) Rose Windows @ Sonic Boom [Free In-store at 7pm]

Local Sub Pop psychedelic indie rock group celebrates a record release with a free show at one of Seattle’s best record stores.

6/26 (Wednesday) Sean Nelson, Jenny Invert, Whitney Lyman @ Neumos

Former Harvey Danger frontman and influential local musician goes solo and touts a new album called “Make Good Choices.”

6/27 (Thursday) Sera Cahoone, Deep Sea Diver, The Redwood Plan and many more @ Chop Suey for Team Up 4 Nonprofits‘Rain City Rock Camp For Girls Benefit

Local indie rock band fronted by up-and-coming female rock icon, Jessica Dobson, plays for a great cause.

6/28 (Friday) The Tripwires, Llama, Alessandra Rose @ Columbia City Theater

Former frontwoman of the Kindness Kind, local artist Alessandra strikes out as a solo act with powerful vocals and catchy melodies.

6/29 (Saturday) The Glass Notes, Jeremy Burk, Natalie Quist @ Neumos

Local musician Robb Benson’s latest project, featuring bluesy undertones.

6/30 (Sunday) Cynthia Alexander, Arkansas & The River Bandits, The Raven & The Writing Desk @ High Dive

Denver-based chamber-folk-pop with female vocals and Eastern European influence (and the only non-Seattle band we’re recommending this week).
