Seattle’s Best Concerts: Up-and-Comers and Longtime Favorites [Week of 2/10]

Even though Seattle is cooling down (Snowpocalypse, OMG!), the Spring tour season is actually starting to heat up. Over the next few months, there are some class acts coming through our favorite venues that you won’t want to miss.

This week in particular features some fun up-and-comers punctuated by a couple long-standing favorites over the weekend.

2/11 (Tuesday) You Won’t, The Horde and the Harem @ Tractor

Expertly crafted indie-pop from a young Boston duo.

2/12 (Wednesday) Inly, Cold Guns, Gabriel Mintz @ Tractor Tavern

Local songsmith brings his folk-tinged rock to the boot scootin’ Tractor.

2/14 (Friday) TacocaT, Slutever, Pony Time @ Chop Suey

Bright, poppy, bubble gum rock full of tutus, striped tights and songs about Cat Fancy and wearing leotards.

2/15 (Saturday) Presidents of the United States of America, You Scream I Scream, Motopony @ Showbox

You’ve heard “Peaches” and “Lump” probably too many times. But the animated, engaging Seattle trio is staying strong with PUSAFest, back again this year.

2/16 (Sunday) Band of Horses @ The Moore

With Seattle origins in 2004, but now based in North Carolina, this indie rock group has received worldwide acclaim.
