Best Seattle Shows This Week [Nov. 5]

This week offers a nice balanced mix of relative newcomers and musical legends – all of which we highly recommend!

11/8 (Thursday) – The Henry Clay People @ Chop Suey
An indie pop band with a touch of punk, founded by two brothers out of LA.

11/8 (Thursday) – Morrissey @ The Moore Theatre
The famed former frontman of The Smiths brings his cleverly crafted lyricism and legendary crooning to the Emerald City. POSTPONED

11/9 (Friday) – AC Newman @ The Crocodile
One of Canada’s most talented indie singer songwriters displays his solo prowess after playing in two Canadian indie pop groups int he 1990s and serving as leader of the New Pornographers.

11/9 (Friday) – Leonard Cohen @ Key Arena
One of music’s most respected and sustained singer songwriters of our generation, an American and Canadian Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, and the origin of many a cover song.

11/10 (Saturday) – Neil Young @ Key Arena
A former Buffalo Springfield member, a master of the harmonica and a true musical folk hero since the 1960s.
