FREE live MUSIC from SEA live MUSIC: Rhett Miller (Old 97’s) Ticket Giveaway

We’re happy to be able to offer you a chance to see the Rhett Miller when he’s in town this Friday for free. For a chance to win a pair of tickets to his 6/22 show, just send an email to SEAliveMUSIC [at] with the subject line “This Summer Lie” by noon this Thursday.

Aren’t familiar with Rhett? He’s the former frontman of Alt Country forefathers The Old 97’s. While Rhett’s been a solo artist since the late 80’s with an extended quiet period during his former band’s heyday, he picked up the singer-songwriter gig again a decade ago with Instigator. Rhett’s touring in support of his latest album, The Dreamer, which came out earlier this month. With many critics calling The Dreamer his best effort in years, “cokemachineglow calls this straight-up pop with a tinge of alt-country “easy company, a warm and thoroughly enjoyable summer listen.”

If you’re interested in taking in these summer tunes in person, send us an email and we’d love to set you up with a pair of tickets.

6/22 (Friday) – Rhett Miller with The Spring Standards @ Crocodile, Doors at 8pm, $18
